![]() England only lifted the European Championship last month, but they are already preparing to defend the title next year and will have the advantage of hosting the First Qualifying Round. The group fixtures for the ninth UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship have now been announced and will take place in the North West between 19-24 September. Mo Marley's squad kick off their qualifying campaign against Belarus on Saturday 19 September at Rochdale FC's Spotland home, whilst group rivals Norway and Slovakia meet at Curzon Ashton FC on the same day. The second phase of qualifying games take place on Monday 21 September, when Belarus face Norway and England play Slovakia at Bury FC's Gigg Lane. The group will be decided with the final round of games, which are held on Thursday 24 September, when England take on Norway at Spotland in their final match and Slovakia face Belarus at Curzon Ashton. The top two teams from the group will then progress to the Elite Qualifying Round, which will take place in March or April 2010. The UEFA Under-19 Championship Finals will take place in May and June 2010. Several members of the victorious England team from the UEFA Under-19 Championships in Belarus are still available for selection this time around so the matches present a good opportunity to watch England's title winners in action!
