Hope Powell has named her 22-player squad for the UEFA Women's Championship Finals in Finland later this month.
The surprise omission from the squad is that of Rachel Yankey, capped 89 times for her country, whilst 20-year-olds Dani Buet and Jess Clarke are amongst those who will be travelling.
Karen Bardsley, who made an impressive full debut against Denmark last month, has got the nod as one of the three goalkeeper with the unlucky Carly Telford missing out.
Kelly Smith and Faye White are both named despite recent battles against knee injuries. The squad will include six full time professionals now based in America and has an average age of 25, with a caps per player average of 40.
England begin their Euro 2009 campaign against Italy on 25 August before going on to play Russia and Sweden in their remaining group matches.
