Women's Football News Archive
The South West Women's League has undergone a restructuring after the member clubs voted in favour at the AGM recently. The league has gone away from the old North and South divisions and opted for a more manageable East/West format. They also decided that, with 32 member clubs, the Premier Division would now consist of the full 12 teams. Four teams are therefore promoted to the Premier Division, North and South Champions Chippenham Town and Saltash Utd are joined by Oldland Abbotonians and Weymouth. Cleeve West Town, Forest Green Rovers Res and Nailsea Utd enter Division One East whilst new to the West division are Roche, Marjons Old Suttonians, Falmouth Town and Yeovil Town Res.
