Millwall appoint Aidan as manager
 Women's Football News 15 Jun 2009

Millwall Lionesses are delighted to announce the double appointment of Aidan Boxall as their new manager and Kay Cossington as his assistant.

Aidan replaces Matt Beard who took charge of the team on a temporary appointment in January when he stepped in for Keith Boanas until the end of the season.

Aidan, a current sports lecturer who holds his UEFA 'B' Licence and is currently working towards his 'A' Licence, has a wealth of management and coaching experience at both youth and senior levels having worked with Fisher Athletic, Chelmsford City and AFC Hornchurch. He has also worked in Australia and the USA coaching elite female players.

Kay, who holds her UEFA 'A' Licence, will combine the role with her current coaching committments as the Director of Millwall Girls' Centre of Excellence and the England Under-19s Assistant Coach.

The club is pleased with the double appointment and believe they have secured the services of two well qualified and highly respected coaches who jointly can build on the success of the previous season and implement a long term development strategy so that Millwall Lionesses will be successful for the foreseeable future.
