Luton's Italian job
 Women's Football News 9 Jun 2009

Luton's Italian job - 9 Jun 2009 - Women's Football NewsLuton Town Under-15s have just returned from a successful three day tour to Italy, where they played two games.

The first game against Atalanta ended in a 1-1 draw with Holly Sheridan the scorer via a cool finish and the other match against Fiammamonza also ended 1-1, Teighlor Pengelley equalising for the Town with a scorching free kick.

The tour capped off a fine season for the girls which saw them win the Home Counties Girls League Under-15 Division One title, finishing above Tottenham Hotspur and Queen's Park Rangers before they completed the double by winning the League Cup, defeating Tottenham 1-0 in the Final. They also finished runners-up in the Bedfordshire Under-16 County Cup, beaten only by the club's Under-16 side.

The squad is now in the process of recruiting for the new season, they are seeking a goalkeeper and outfield players of good ability to complement this successful side. If you are ambitious and feel you would like to be part of this, then please contact the club through their website at www.lutontownbelles.com.
