Celtic continue to head the chasing clubs after they also scored six without reply away to Raith Rovers. Spartans continued their push for the title with an emphatic 7-1 win against fourth placed Hibernian in their local derby. Debbie McWhinnie opened the scoring for Spartans before setting up Hayley Lauder for the second and also creating another for Diana Barry before half time. After the break, Spartans kept up the pace with Barry and McWhinnie netting again before Stacey Cook pulled one back for Hibs. Barry went on to complete her hat-trick and Kate McGillivary headed in the final goal for Spartans who are five points off the pace, with two games in hand. Aberdeen notched up their second win in a row, 1-0 away to Dundee Utd SC, to take themselves into sixth place whilst Boroughmuir Thistle claimed a vital 2-0 victory at FC Kilmarnock to put six points between themselves and the foot of the table.
