Leicester City lifted the Leicestershire County Women's Cup for the fourth year running at Holmes Park last night with an emphatic 8-0 win against a spirited Loughborough Dynamo side. Natalie Reay set them on their way with strikes in the 16th and 30th minutes before Courtney Sweetman-Kirk fired home on 33 minutes and Katie Lowder added City's fourth in the 38th minute. After the break Sweetman-Kirk grabbed her second and a penalty from captain Remi Allen, plus goals in the dying minutes by Natasha Meade and Hannah Smith completed the scoring. Special mention to Dynamo keeper Becky Robinson who performed heroics between the sticks for her team.
