![]() Fleet went into the game knowing that they needed a victory in order to overhaul Denham Utd, who had also completed their games, to take the Championship and promotion to the South East Combination. A totally focused Fleet team dominated from the kick off, leaving an in-form Horley Town chasing shadows as they played the match with high energy and a fast tempo. They were awarded a penalty within the opening 10 minutes after Kelly Campbell was floored in the box and Tamar Upton stepped up to take the kick, finishing expertly and showing complete confidence. Ebbsfleet were three up at half time with further goals coming from Jay Blackie and Kelly Campbell. They were asked to go out in the second half with the same tempo and attitude and make sure they completed the 90 minutes professionally. Jay Blackie completed the scoring on the day, heading home Fleet's fourth goal before Horley managed to grab a consolation goal late on. Well done to all the players that have been involved this season, enjoy the win - Ebbsfleet United are 2008-09 London & South East League Champions.
