Sheffield Wednesday are pleased to announce that they have signed a new deal with 1861 Leisure Ltd. This will see the Owls play their home fixtures at the Sandy Lane Ground in Worksop. Their last two remaining home ties this season against OOH Lincoln on 12 April and Preston North End on 3 May will both be played at Sandy Lane (2pm) along with all the Owls' home fixtures for 2009-10 FA Tesco Women's Premier League campaign. The Sheffield Wednesday LFC Committee management and players would like to thank all at Maltby Miners Welfare for their time and work over the last two years where they have been based. The Owls have been through a transition period in the last two months with a new board putting into place many changes. Moving to the excellent set up at Worksop is one of the few pieces in a very large jigsaw that will hopefully assist the Owls in their mission to be one of the most successful women's sides in the county. Wednesday are always looking for people to get involved with the club so If you would like to get involved with Sheffield's premier club, either as a sponsor, player (Over 16) or volunteer please contact Jeff Maslin at dmaslin030770@aol.com.
