![]() Former Chesterfield forward Skeemer, 22, will join up with her new Forest team mates for the first time at tonight's training session, as the squad prepare for a huge game at fellow National Division strugglers Liverpool. Assistant Manager Andy Burgess said of the signing: "We are thrilled Rachel has decided to make the switch from Sheffield Wednesday and we certainly feel she is a player who can make the step up into the National Premier League. She will add an exciting new dimension to our forward line and I for one can't wait to see her in a Forest shirt. "Her goal record in previous seasons proves she knows where the goal is. We have watched a lot of games and strikers over the past few months and have always targeted Rachel as having the potential to improve and add to our squad. She ticked a lot of boxes and I know our manager Lisa Dawkins has been a long term admirer of her talents." Forest's new signing said of the move, "I loved my time at Wednesday, the banter was brilliant and the training was good but Forest are a massive club with some top class players and I will probably never get the chance again to play with, and against, girls this good."
