Charlton Athletic made the most of their first league match since November by beating Truro City 3-0 to extend their lead at the top of the Southern Division to six points.
After Nina Boorman had gone close with a free kick early on, Kim Holden marked her Addicks debut by giving them the lead when she converted a cross from Kristina Manktelow. The former England under-19 striker then scored her second on the stroke of half time. Gemma Bryan completed the victory with fifteen minutes remaining by netting with her first touch of the ball after coming on as a substitute.
Keynsham Town now head the chasing teams, lifting themselves into second place with a 3-0 win against Ipswich Town. Helen Bleazard scored twice, with Ana Bruni adding the other to give the Somerset side their second victory over the Tractor Girls in successive weeks.
Colchester Utd are up into a mid-table position after winning 2-0 away to West Ham Utd. Helen Bass struck the woodwork for the U's in the first half but the prolific striker bagged a second half double to put a dent in the Hammers' challenge.
