Everton cut the gap on leaders Arsenal to six points with a 7-0 victory over Nottingham Forest. Jill Scott, Fern Whelan and Natasha Dowie ensured that the Toffees went into the half time interval with a three-goal lead before Dowie completed her double after the break and further goals were added through Emily Westwood, Michelle Evans and Isobel Christiansen. Two early strikes proved to be enough to give fourth placed Doncaster Rovers Belles a 2-1 win against Watford. Emma Johnson and Chelsea Weston both netted to put the Belles two ahead inside the opening 18 minutes with Georgie Adams grabbing a consolation for Watford with five minutes remaining.
