![]() The 22-year-old midfielder, who has joined Rovers in search of more regular first team football, is famed for scoring the winning goal in last season's Premier League Cup Final against Arsenal. Blackburn manager Adam Lakeland said: "This is a significant signing for us. Amy is a regular England Under-23 international and if we can get her playing week-in and week-out, then I'm sure she can put herself in contention for the senior squad. "She is an energetic player, who can get up and down the pitch, but is naturally more defensive-minded. She reads the game well, she's able to break up play and her range of passing is technically very sound. "She's got good physical presence and is an experience head - all the attibutes which we feel that we need and that we hope will improve us." Amy added: "There's a lot of good young players here and it is an ambitious place to play football, so that's what appealed to me most. "I'd been at Everton since I was 15, so it was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make, but I just want to start playing regular first team football again."
