Scotland Head Coach Anna Signeul has announced her squad for their first gathering of 2009.
A total of 23 players have been selected to attend a three-day training camp at Telford College and the Spartans Football Academy in Edinburgh at the end of January.
There have been a number of uncapped players called up to the squad including Glasgow City trio Rachel Corsie, Jane Ross and Suzanne Lappin as well as Celtic's Leanne Crichton, Hibernian duo Frankie Brown and Hollie Thomson plus Spartans striker Diana Barry. Captain Julie Fleeting will be absent due to her pregnancy.
The training camp will be the first time that the squad has met since their agonising defeat in the European Championship play-offs, when they went out on away goals to Russia despite a valiant 2-1 victory in the second leg. No fixtures have yet been announced for the new year but the camp is set to be to beginning of preparations for the forthcoming World Cup qualifying group.
