Liverpool gave their National Division survival hopes a massive boost with a 3-2 victory away to fourth placed Doncaster Rovers Belles. In-form striker Cheryl Foster put the Reds ahead after just 90 seconds of play before the Belles hit back to go in front before the interval with goals from Suzanne Davies and Chelsea Weston. Liverpool struck once again in the opening minute of the second half, Gill Hart bringing the scores level once more, and Foster struck her 11th goal of the season to give her side a vital win and increase the gap between themselves and the bottom two to seven points.
