![]() For the Belles, it will mark their first appearance in the Final for 12 years and two early goals set them on their way to a 3-1 victory over a gallant Preston North End at the Keepmoat Stadium. Doncaster were quickly into their stride and Rachel Williams headed them into a sixth minute lead. With Preston still recovering from the early setback, Emily Heckler added a second moments later with a strike from the edge of the area. Preston got themselves back into the game six minutes before half time as Anisha Bateman headed in a Mel Martin free kick but their hopes were effectively killed off in the opening minutes of the second half as Suzanne Davies burst through on goal to neatly finish. Arsenal meanwhile ran out 4-0 winners away to Chelsea after three second half strikes put the match beyond the home side's reach. An own goal from Sophie Perry was all that separated the sides at half time but a Jayne Ludlow goal midway through the second half proved to be a decisive moment in the game. Kelly Smith soon added a third and Julie Fleeting completed the scoring with nine minutes remaining. The date and venue of the Final is yet to be confirmed.
