Arsenal claimed their tenth successive victory and opened up a lead of three points by beating Liverpool 2-0.

Bristol Academy were unable to sustain a flying start away to Blackburn Rovers and had to settle for a 2-2 draw, their sixth of the season. Shelly Cox gave Academy a ninth minute lead with Emma Plewa adding a second three minutes later with her first Premier League goal.
