Celtic continue to set the pace in the Scottish Women's Premier League and their 2-1 victory away to Dundee Utd SC has taken them three points clear at the top from Spartans, who had no game. Glasgow City returned to league action following their UEFA Women's Cup exploits and were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Hibernian. Suzanne Lappin twice gave Glasgow the lead but Hibs battled back on each occasion with two equalisers from Stacey Cook. FC Kilmarnock returned to winning ways and are up into fourth place following their 3-2 victory against Aberdeen. Boroughmuir Thistle meanwhile notched up their second victory in a row, beating Hamilton Academicals by the odd goal in five. The result takes Boroughmuir into fifth place, their highest position of the season to date. There will be no matches played in the Scottish Women's Premier League this Sunday because of Scotland's UEFA Championships play-off match against Russia.
