Tipton Town Ladies have been awarded Charter Standard by the FA, meaning the club has qualified coaches, a code of practise and are proficient at child protection. Tipton won a place in the Lucozade Sport Performance League and, after their first two league wins, are currently placed joint 5th with 303 points and striker Kiren Rana is also placed second on the Golden Boot top scorers table with an average of 3.5 goals so far. The club has received their supplies of Lucozade and drinks bottles, and are now awaiting their new kit. Tipton are really pleased that Angela Boden (Secretary to Tipton Town men's club) has brought back the under-15 girls team this season and they desperately need more young girls to get involved in the local club. For more information, call Angela on (07921) 167173. In order to raise funds, the ladies squad is hitting the streets on Friday 31st October in Halloween Fancy Dress in the hope of promoting both the ladies and girls club.
