Chelsea cut Arsenal's lead to two points in the National Division with a hard earned 1-0 win away to Birmingham City. Eniola Aluko sank her former club with the only goal of the game for the Blues, four minutes before half time. Leeds Carnegie have moved into the top half for the first time this season after they defeated Liverpool 4-1. Carla Cantrell opened the scoring for Leeds with Jess Clarke adding a second on the half hour. After the break, Kelly Jones reduced the arrears for Liverpool before Clarke scored her second and Steph Houghton rounded off the win with the fourth goal. Watford leapfrogged Blackburn Rovers in the table by beating them 4-1. Helen Lander put Watford in control by netting a hat-trick and, although Katie Anderton pulled a goal back for Rovers, Ashlee Hincks completed the tally for the Hornets.
