Wales have booked their place in the Second Qualifying Phase of the UEFA Under-19 Championships after they defeated Croatia 2-0. Andy Beattie's side are sure of qualification with a game to spare after they followed up their opening 3-0 victory over Latvia with goals from Sophie Ingle and Emily Brown. Wales finish up their group matches against hosts Sweden, who are also through, on Tuesday. England meanwhile greatly boosted their chances of a top two finish by beating group hosts Slovenia 3-0. Following their disappointing opening draw with Slovakia, Jade Moore's double and Jess Holbrook ensured they moved to the top of the group with one match remaining. However Scotland, beaten 1-0 by Slovenia in their first game, are at the foot of the table after battling out a goalless draw with Slovakia and the Auld Enemy clash on Tuesday has taken on greater significance. Scotland have to win if they are to go through, whilst England need to avoid defeat.
