![]() Scans have revealed that Danielle, who only joined Rovers from Everton in the summer, did in fact rupture her anterior cruciate ligament whilst making her home debut against Chelsea last month. Manager Adam Lakeland said: "Danielle will go for an operation on her knee, hopefully within the next fortnight, and will then be out for the following six to nine months. We hope to have her back by pre-season next year. "I am absolutely gutted for her. Not only will she miss the full season with us, but she will also miss the Under-20 World Cup with England in November, which she has worked so hard towards. "However, she has got to accept what has happened and hope that it makes you stronger. She will have the full support of both me and the club. "She is a great girl, with a strong character and I'm sure she'll return better than ever."
