![]() Last season, Cardiff played their games shuffling between Cwmbran Stadium, Jenna Park and Bryntirion Athletic FC last season whilst the new stadium was being built. Club Secretary Karen Jones commented: "It's good to be coming back to the Capital city and a new ground. There is no denying that not having a base last season was problematic, but we can now put all that behind us and concentrate on settling into a very modern, functional and state of the art stadium." The game will be one of the first matches to be played on the new ground as the stadium is not due to be officially opened until the end of the month. The Cardiff team take on a strong National Division side in WFC Fulham who were promoted at the end of last season. Cardiff have just returned from their week long UEFA Women's Cup exploits in Slovakia where they picked up a point in a goalless draw in their last game against the hosts Sala, and hope to take that experience forward into this game.
