West Ham Utd have taken over at the top of the Southern Division following an excellent 4-1 victory away to previous leaders Keynsham Town. Although they conceded their first goal of the campaign to Hari Sabic, the Hammers took the points with strikes from Lindsay Morgan, Sam Pittuck, Natalie Grafton and Carly Roache to head the division for the first time in their history, by a single point. Millwall Lionesses have started ominously well and are in second place following their 5-1 success at Truro City. Vicky Boardman gave them a first half lead which was doubled by Emma Whitter and Leah Jones added a third. Whitter netted her second midway through the second half and Gemma Shepherd rounded off the scoring for the Lionesses, with Leanne Lapham grabbing a late consolation for the Cornish side, scoring for the third match in succession. After a defeat the previous week, Charlton Athletic bounced back to form by winning 3-0 away to Ipswich Town, who are still seeking their first victory after promotion. Katie Hardaker, Kimberley Dixson and Natalie Crinean were all on target for the Addicks who have moved into third place. Cardiff City meanwhile notched up their first victory, getting the better of Brighton & Hove Albion in a high scoring encounter by 5-3. Natasha Harding's first minute goal was immediately cancelled out by Kim Stenning, but Harding quickly struck again and Laurie Harries netted a third goal. After the break, Harries completed her double before Stacey Parkinson and Kerry Dawkins pulled goals back for the Seagulls. Loren Dykes sealed the points for Cardiff with their fifth goal, fifteen minutes from time.
