![]() The Reds had gone into the game on the back of conceding double figures against Arsenal in their previous outing but they took the lead just after the half hour mark through a Cheryl Foster penalty. Everton got back on terms after the break with a goal from Becky Easton and Fara Williams kept up her fine start to the season by netting the winner with sixteen minutes remaining. Doncaster Rovers Belles made it eight goals in two games when running out 4-1 victors away to Nottingham Forest, who are still looking for their first point. The Belles went into half time with a three goal advantage, given to them by Liz Hanson, Rachel Williams and Suzanne Davies, and an own goal from Kelly Finley completed their scoring after the break. Forest did hit back late on with Andi Bell netting a consolation. Bristol Academy notched up their first victory of the season, 4-2 to inflict a first defeat on Birmingham City. Academy got off to a flying start with Gwennan Harries and Stef Curtis putting them two ahead inside the opening seven minutes and Justine Lorton quickly added a third. In the second half, the Blues tried hard to fight back into the game but the pacey Harries broke away to score her second before Birmingham pulled back late goals through Maz Gauntlett and Natasha Lynch.
