![]() After an intensive period of friendly games, Fulham are looking to recruit several replacements for the National Division campaign after their number of long term injuries has doubled over recent weeks. A Fulham spokesman commented: "With two players still out from last season, the last thing we needed was the recent spat of injuries on top of losing four reserve players to university, as well as top scorer Annie Heatherson over the summer. Having picked up several new senior players and a host of new quality youngsters in pre-season, we seemed to be set for a settled spell. "The loss of these extra players to long term injury, although not terminal, leaves us in need to add to the squad numbers for our return to the top flight of the game. "We are obviously looking for players of National Division standard and these unfortunate unforeseen circumstances will give new players the opportunity to join an established squad, as well as test their skill amongst the top twelve sides in the country. "After retaining the majority of the Southern Division Championship squad from last year, we feel that with a few additions, we can consolidate our newly won place in the Premiership." Interested players should contact Fred Brockwell on (0208) 641 4955, or (07885) 936331 (Mobile), for further details. They can also go to the club website at www.fulhamwfc.com which shows the excellent facilities the club has put together for the 2008-09 campaign.
