Lewes made sure their long journey to Cambridge City was a happy one, returning home with a 4-2 victory thanks to Kerry Tagg (2), Kirstie Spice and Charlotte Bennett. Two late second half goals earned Enfield Town a 2-0 win away to Wellingborough Diamonds. Holly Wilson broke the deadlock with seventeen minutes remaining when she swept home a Rebecca Laporte cross and youngster Robyn Downie sealed the points with the second goal. Honours were even as Gillingham and Bedford Town Bells finished level at 2-2. Lesley Anne Seaman gave Bedford the lead from the penalty spot before the Gills hit back with quick strikes from Kylie Overton and Les Kay, and the scoring was completed before half time as Alisha Pugh earned Bedford a share of the spoils. Tottenham Hotspur's first ever game in the league following promotion saw them pick up a point as an evenly contested match with Whitehawk ended goalless.
