Keynsham Town LFC is delighted to announce a supplier sponsorship arrangement with KELME (UK) which will see the FA Tesco Premier League club taking all its playing kit, training outfits and club leisurewear from one of the fastest growing sports brands.
Kelme was founded in 1977, in Spain, where it currently operates on a worldwide basis for sports footwear, together with football, cycling and athletics apparel. Kelme grew to prominence as a supplier to Real Madrid and is based in Elche, Alicante Province.
Keynsham Town is amongst the top 25 ladies football clubs in England and Wales, playing in the FA Premier League Southern Division, where the club currently lies in fifth place. Unlike most of their main competitors, Keynsham is not aligned to any major men's club, being a community based sports club with FA Charter Standard Community status and it is one of the few ladies clubs to play its matches on the club's own ground at the Crown Field, Keynsham.
Keynsham Town's first team manager, Barrie Newton said: "This is an excellent deal for our club and brings a quality of product that our players are very excited about. Our first team has already taken delivery of their new kit and our new reserve kit is expected to arrive this week. We will then be working through all our other training and leisure garments to make sure that the Kelme Panther's Paw is everywhere."
Kelme (UK) owner, David Small added: "Kelme's UK business is run from the West Country and we are pleased to be associated with another very successful Somerset based club, particularly on the women's side where growth is so marked." (Photo - Geraint Pritchard)
