The Addicks are recruiting players in partnership with London Leisure College and Canterbury High School.
And the first open evening takes place in Canterbury on Wednesday, January 23rd, with London Leisure College hosting an event the following month.
The Charlton academy is overseen by technical director and former Addicks winger Paul Mortimer, and the open evenings give youngsters the chance to view the facilities at the two sites and discuss academic opportunities from September 2008.
Trials will then take place at Charlton's training ground in New Eltham, and if players reach the required standard, a place will be offered with the Addicks' academy programme.
Charlton are the only club in the country to provide advanced apprenticeships in sporting excellence, and both Canterbury and London Leisure College cater for students of all academic abilities, and offer a wide range of modules.
Charlton Athletic's women's academy is seeking new players for next season, with a series of open meetings for anyone interested beginning on Wednesday night.
The women's set-up is run by the Charlton Community Trust, and will offer girls opportunities to gain qualifications in coaching and a pathway to employment via their coaching programmes.
The open evenings take place at Canterbury High School, Knight Avenue, Canterbury CT2 8QA on Wednesday, January 23rd (6.30-8.30pm), and London Leisure College, Eltham Leisure Centre,
2 Archery Road SE9 1HA on Wednesday, February 27th (6.30-8pm).
