Blackburn go second
 Women's Football News 14 Jan 2008
Blackburn Rovers moved into second place in the National Division as they came from behind to beat Doncaster Rovers Belles 3-2.
Karen Hanson gave Rovers a fifth minute lead but the Belles fought back strongly to go ahead at the interval, thanks to goals from Precious Hamilton and Liz Hansen. Katie Anderton levelled matters for Blackburn just after the hour mark and Nikki Twohig scored the decisive goal, twenty minutes from time.
Cardiff City remain nine points from safety as they were beaten 5-0 by Chelsea, who move into the top half of the table. However the South Wales side remained on level terms until the hour, when Dunia Susi put the Blues in front. The other four goals came in the final seven minutes, Dani Buet doubling Chelsea's lead before they went on to record further goals through Ellen White, Emma Whitter and Eniola Aluko.
