Lincoln City moved to within four points of Northern Division leaders Nottingham Forest as they ran out 3-0 winners over Crewe Alexandra.

Sheffield Wednesday leapt into fifth place, their highest of the season to date, following their 3-1 victory over Newcastle Utd. This match witnessed several late goals, Wednesday leading by Lucy Foreman's goal going into the dying minutes. Sarah Bennett looked to have salvaged a point for Newcastle but Beth Gingell struck twice in injury time to seal the points for Wednesday.
Rotherham Utd meanwhile notched up their best result of the season, a stunning 5-1 success away to Manchester City. The Yorkshire side never looked back after Suzanne Davies and Caroline Wood scored in the opening eight minutes. Davies added her second after the break, with Kerry Longstone and Rebecca Hale taking Rotherham's tally to five before Katie Brusell grabbed a late consolation for City.
