Aston Villa won a closely contested Midlands derby tie 2-1 against West Bromwich Albion to make it through to the Fourth Round of the FA Women's Cup.
Hannah Smith and Carly Davies were on target for Villa, with Albion replying through Erin Hicken. Villa will now be at home to Northern Division title chasers Lincoln City.
Portsmouth came away from a potentially tricky tie at Chesham Utd with a 5-0 victory. Kirsty McGhee, Gemma Hillier, Zoe Nash, Brooke Chaplen and Laura Froggatt all netted a goal apiece to book Pompey a Fourth Round trip to Rotherham Utd.
West Ham Utd ended the Cup run of Queen's Park Rangers by beating them 5-0, spearheaded by a hat-trick from Natalie Grafton. Sam Pittuck and Lindsey Morgan added the other goals for the Hammers who are yet to learn their next opponents.
This is because the outcome of the tie between Colchester Utd and Luton Town is still yet to be decided. Following a controversial postponement the previous week, the tie was abandoned in the second half this time around with Colchester leading 1-0. The teams will make a third attempt to play the match this week, along with the six remaining Third Round ties yet to be played.
