The Premier League match between Arsenal and Watford on Thursday evening was abandoned at half time following theft from the Arsenal dressing room during the first half.
The referee called the game off following a 40-minute delay at Boreham Wood FC, where Arsenal play their home matches. The match was goalless when play was called to a halt.
Watford spokesman Eric Wood-Thompson said: "With the score standing at 0-0, there was obvious disappointment from the Watford team not to have completed the game. However under the circumstances, it was the right decision."
The game will be re-scheduled later in the season.
