Barnet are the new leaders in the Southern Division following their 5-2 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.
Claire Thomas and Stacey Sowden struck in quick succession for the Bees in the first half and, despite Carly Esposito pulling one back for Brighton, Thomas restored the two-goal advantage by half time. Amy Found gave the Seagulls renewed hope but two goals in the final eight minutes saw the prolific Sowden go on to complete her hat-trick and send Barnet top of the table for the first time.
A win could well have seen Millwall Lionesses take over the leadership but instead they went down to a surprise 3-2 defeat at home to Colchester Utd. Gemma Bryan's first half goal for Millwall was cancelled out by Helen Bass, who grabbed her seventh goal of the season, but Daisy Seely sent the Lionesses in front on the stroke of half time. After the break, Toni Smith levelled matters once again and Dunmore clinched victory for the U's with her second goal, six minutes from time.
