Give racism the boot!
 Women's Football News 12 Oct 2007
Girls from around the Midlands region are being invited to join England women footballers and give racism the boot at one of three fun festivals being held in Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Nuneaton later this month.
To mark Kick it Out's "One Game, One Community" Week of Action, Birmingham County FA are providing free fun coaching sessions for girls aged 8-16 years old at Hamstead Hall School, Southside Sports, and Etone Sports Centre on October 24th, 25th and 26th respectively.
No previous footballing experience is necessary as FA qualified coaches will tailor the sessions being held between 10am-3pm to ensure everyone enjoys the fun games and coaching sessions, picking up plenty of new skills along the way. England Women Internationals are expected to attend on each day, with girls being offered the opportunity win tickets to see them in action later that week too.
"There will be lots of prizes, including tickets to see England Women play Belarus on the 27th October," said Girls and Women's Football Development Officer Laura Milburn who is coordinating the event. "Football is a fantastic way to get important messages across &emdash; we thought it would be a very fitting way to add our support to the Kick it Out campaign."
To register your FREE place at one of the three festivals, e-mail laura.milburn@birminghamfa.com or call 0121 357 4278 (option 2).
