Carterton v Bracknell Town - 30 Sep 2007 - Women's Football NewsF.A.Women's Cup - Road to the Final
Carterton came from behind to beat Stoke Lane Athletic with two late goals from Lauren Spraggs and Ann Harvey and they will be at home for the third successive round, this time to Bracknell Town.
Bracknell defeated MK Wanderers 3-1 to reach this stage and the Berkshire side will be aiming to win the Southern Region League Premier Division title this season after finishing as runners-up last year as well as winning the Chairman's Cup.
Bracknell manager Conrad Whitney has put together an experienced and talented squad, including striker Ayala Liran who has carried on her good form from last season alongside Tracy Marlow. Captain Libby Suchley, who can certainly shoot from distance, and midfielders Emma Constable and Elly Maggs are other important players in the Bracknell squad.
The match takes place at Carterton FC's Kilkenny Lane ground and, with higher division status, Bracknell will start the game as favourites although a revitalised Carterton side is likely to give them a tough test.
