Portsmouth have taken over the leadership of the Southern Division, thanks to a 2-0 victory away to Colchester Utd.
Kirsty McGhee gave Pompey the lead midway through the first half and Leeta Rutherford wrapped up the win before half time.
Newquay follow on in second place after scoring nine without reply against Reading Royals. Helen Wood bagged a hat-trick for the Cornish side, Annie Richards weighed in with a double and the tally was completed by Kirsty Lang, Leanne Griffiths and two own goals.
Danielle Hoy was another player to score a hat-trick, for West Ham Utd as they won 6-3 at Brighton & Hove Albion. Natalie Crinean added two and Natalie Grafton rounded off the scoring, whilst Brighton replied with goals from Becky Fry, Regan Coleman and Katie Hodges.
Keynsham Town drew for the third successive match, despite a flying start against Crystal Palace. Luciana Silva put Keynsham after 28 seconds and Sheila Rocha quickly added a second, before Palace fought back with goals from Claire Williams and Beth Curtis. An end to end second half saw chances for both sides, Laura East almost snatching victory for Palace but her 'goal' was disallowed for handball.
