Cullercoats Aerials have agreed to sponsor Whitley Bay for a period of three years.
The deal allows Whitley to continue their very successful senior team and also to form a reserve side this season as well as expanding its youth development scheme in the coming years.
Cullercoats Aerials will have exclusive shirt sponsorship on all adult teams' home and away shirts as well as other benefits such as website links and programme advertising.
Reuben Condie, from Cullercoats Aerials said: "Whitley Bay Women's football team are perfect for us to sponsor. I am a great believer in supporting local events and organisations and feel that this team have great potential."
Whitley manager Colin Phillips is delighted with the three-year sponsorship deal, adding: "Without local support, we simply couldn't function. With the help of Cullercoats Aerials, our club is able to expand and continue to provide increased opportunities for local women and girls to play football."
