Leeds United have further strengthened their squad for next season by signing 19-year-old England Under-19 International striker Jade Malpas from Stockport County.
Jade had been top scorer for Stockport, who finished third in the Northern Division, and was also part of the successful England Under-19 Euro championship squad in February.
Leeds Manager Julie Chipchase said: "Jade is a young player with a lot of potential, very strong for her age, a good finisher and has pace as well.
"I have been watching her for a couple of seasons and she has progressed a lot in that time. She is still very young but has a very good attitude and has impressed in pre-season training and will be a great addition to the squad."
Jade commented: " I had been with Stockport for nine years and enjoyed my time there, but when the opportunity came up to join Leeds I had to take it. The coaching, facilities and set up of the club is run so professionally, I feel I will learn a lot at Leeds.
"I want to play at the highest level and to play and training alongside players like Sue Smith, Karen Walker and Natalie Preston will help me progress. Everyone has made me feel welcome and I am really looking forward to this season."
